Ceramic Beads is also called as ceramic blasting media,it is one
round and solid blasting media,compared
with steel shot and glass beads,ceramic beads has the medium
density,which can make up the upper
and lower blind area in blasting process. It can replace glass
beads where one clean working condition
is required,also can replace steel shot where ferrous contamination
is required.
It is one clean and high efficient blasting media,which has popular
blasting applications.

5. Why ceramic beads is one clean and high efficient blasting
media?
Compared with glass beads,ceramic beads’ service life could be
prolonged at least 20- 30 times. The
workpiece treated by ceramic beads will achieve better visual
effect and texture as well as lower toughness
compared with the one treated by glass beads.
The greater density of ceramic beads makes it higher modulus of
elasticity and greater
impact energy,it will reduce shot blasting pressure and energy
consumption to get the same blasting effect.
Only few ceramic beads will be broken in the process of usage,the
non-broken ones will maintain the original
features in shape,particle size,hardness as well as smoothness,then
it is recyclable,and can reduce the refueling
times, improve working efficiency,then finally save the production
cost.
