Brown Aluminum Oxide belongs to the group of artifical corundum,it
has brown color,so it is also named as
brown fused alumina.
The main chemical composition is at least 95% alumina,so it is a
hard and tough material with 9 mohs
hardness. It also has the characteristic of good self-sharpness,
strong cutting force due to its block
sharp shape and unique crystal structure.

3. Product Main Features of Artifical Corundum Brown Aluminum Oxide
Brown aluminum oxide contains 95% alumina,there will no ferrous
contamination transferred to the surface of
treatment.
Brown aluminum oxide has high hardness and block shape,it will
offer more aggressive force when impacting
the treatment,it is easy to remove the impurities,then improve the
blastiing efficiency.
- Low friability and reused
Brown aluminum oxide has lower friability than the one of white
aluminum oxide, it is not easy to break down in
blasting process, so it could be reused for several times,also one
durable abrasive.
4. Brown Fused Alumina Application in Sandblasting:
- Sandblasting for surface cleaning, such as deburring, oxide scale
removal, mold cleaning
- Glass Etching or stone engraving
- Surface Prepation to enhance the adhesion
In addition,it is also widely used for the application of
- Boned abrasives to cutting or grinding the carbon steel, oridiary
alloy steel, calcinable cast iron, hard bronze, etc;
- Coated abrasives to polishing the stainless steel, wood,bamboo etc;
- Refractory materials such as furnace lining, high alumina bricks
