sand, Zirconia ceramic micro beads, is made from zirconium sand,
melting and blending in the high temperature mine heat furnace,
then made to micro beads by special technology. Since its mirco
crystal structure, its features are high hardness, good elasticity,
and high impact strength, is high-grade eco-friendly shot peening
media.

Moderate density,can replace glass beads and steel shots
The density of ceramic beads is between 3.00~3.95g/cm3 between the
steel pellet and the glass pellet, the density of the steel pellet
is 7.3-7.6g/cm3, and the density of the glass pellet is 2.2~2.8g/
Cm3, can achieve the shot peening effect that steel shots and glass
shots can not achieve, especially for non-ferrous materials such as
aluminum alloys and titanium alloys.
High hardness and good impact strength
The hardness of ceramic beads shot peening can reach 700HV, with
high impact. The high hardness ensures that ceramic beads shot
peening can be used for shot peening of high-strength and
ultra-high-strength structural parts to improve production
efficiency.
Good flexibility and high efficiency
The elastic modulus of the ceramic projectile is 330GPa, which is
much higher than the glass bead of 60GPa. It is not easy to be
broken, which ensures that the shape of the projectile does not
change during impact, and the shot peening efficiency is high and
the productivity is high.
Reduce manufacturing cost
The ceramic shot peening has a density higher than glass beads, and
the impact energy is large. When the same shot peening effect is
achieved, the shot peening pressure can be reduced, the energy
consumption can be reduced, and the production cost can be reduced.
Ceramic beads shot peening can be used for shot peening of the
production and maintenance of metal parts and light alloy parts to
eliminate stress and improve service life .
In shot peening, ceramic beads are sprayed onto the surface of the
part. The violent impact causes extremely strong plastic
deformation on the surface , resulting in a certain thickness of
the cold work hardening layer on the surface. This strengthening
layer can significantly improve the high temperature of the part.
In addition, shot peening can also promote the transformation of
the microstructure of the steel surface, that is, the retained
austenite induced transformation into martensite, and can refine
the substructure of martensite, further improving the surface
hardness and wear resistance of the workpiece, thereby extending
