Description of hollow glass microspheres:
Hollow glass microspheres is pure white powders, which is hollow
and transparent spheres under the microscope, hollow and contain
thin air.
With a smooth surface of micron scale. The main component is
borosilicate. It is known as the "21st century space material", it
brings innovative
application solutions to cost reduction and efficiency increase in
production and manufacturing for many industries.
The most wide application of hollow glass microspheres is as a
filler for Low density drilling fluid and cementing cement in oilfields
exploration.

Application of hollow glass microspheres
Application of Hollow Glass Sphere in Low Density Drilling Fluid
and Cementing Slurry
Because of low density and high compressive strength, Hollow Glass
Sphere is very suitable in preparing low-density drilling fluids.
It is widely used in deep oil wells to keep the constant stability
of the density of drilling fluids;
Round spherical shape, very good fluidity, perfect lubrication
function, these characteristics of Hollow Glass Sphere can reduce
friction during drilling process, extend the service life of drill
pipes and drill bits, and greatly improve drilling effect as well
as drilling performance;
The low-density and high-strength slurry system prepared by Hollow
Glass Sphere is one of the main ways to resolve the low pressure
and the loss of cementing slurry which is easy to leak.
