DESCRIPTION OF CERAMIC SANDBLASTING MEDIA
Ceramic beads is a zirconia based material and with ZrO2 about
60-62%, SiO2 25-30%. The ZrO2 microstructure is very fine
and distributed on the SiO2 substrate in a tile shape, so it has
good wear resistance and impact resistance, not easy to be broken
to dusts.
It is new environment friendly sandblasting material replace of
glass beads because of no dust pollution and excellent performance
in matte sandblasting finish.
Widely used as a sandblasting media and perform efficiently in dry
or wet blasting systems as well as in wheel turbine blasting
equipment.
