Zirconia milling media Ceria stabilized zirconia beads (rare earth) is brown, shiny milling media, also a cheaper zirconium oxide alternative for metal-free applications.

The 20% cerium oxide rare earth contributes to the highest density of zirconium oxide series beads.

Ceria stabilized zirconia milling media is widely used to mill the high hardness and viscosity slurry in high energy density bead mills.

• Long service life: 30 times of glass beads and 5 times of composite zirconium;

• High grinding efficiency: 6 times of glass beads and 2 times of zirconium silicate beads;

• The viscosity of the grindable slurry is high: viscosity up to 50,000 cps

• Pigments: metallic pigment, dark color organic pigments;
• High viscous pastes: offset printing ink, adhesive and ceramic slurries;
• White filler and coatings: titanium dioxide, Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) and Kaolin;
• Metal minerails: gold, platinum, silver and lead/zinc.

Particularly suitable for the grinding of screen printing inks, offset inks, metallic pigments, heavy calcium, non-ferrous metals, medicine and food.

Match for modern sander mills with high energy input and high shear.
