Brown aluminum oxide, also called Brown Fused Alumina crude, brown corundum, artificial corundum, BFA, etc, is made by melting process and reducing in electric furnace over 2200°C with three raw materials of bauxite, anthracite and iron chip. Then made into different grain size through cooling crystallization, sort, crush, magnetic separation, screen size, blow cleaning etc.. The crude blocks 0-25mm is usually export to the United States to be processed to abrasive grits F12#-F220# or refractory sand 0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-8mm etc...
