The main raw material of nylon sand is polyamide fiber (POLYAMIDE);
the shape is translucent white crystalline thermoplastic polymer
particles. Nylon particles (deburring particles), soft and no
cutting, the spherical shape does not damage the workpiece, the
material is soft and the service life is extra long.
Nylon sand is mainly used for sandblasting and shot blasting
equipment. In cleaning, it can remove burrs and spurs on the
surface of the workpiece without causing damage to the surface of
the workpiece.

DEBURRING FOR MOBILE PHONE SHELLS
In the CNC machining process of the middle plate or bottom plate of
mobile terminal equipment (for example, mobile phone, tablet
computer), since various burrs are generated when the tool cuts the
blank, it is necessary to increase the deburring process. The
manual deburring process has low efficiency, incomplete burr
removal, and easily scratches the surface of the workpiece during
the deburring process.
Nylon sand is soft and weak, and has a long service life. It can be
used in sandblasting guns to deburr mobile phone shells. Generally,
0.30-0.50mm nylon sand is used.
This sandblasting and deburring process uses a high-pressure spray
gun to spray nylon sand onto the protected workpiece to complete
the burr removal in the workpiece. The processing efficiency is
high and the surface of the workpiece will not be scratched.
